Funny how time flies when you're making costume concepts while Peter Capaldi had the perfect look in mind. Plus my earliest perdiction it'd be something Bill, something Jon, something Matt and something new. And at this time 2pm estern standard time, I was correct. Either that or coincedence since I was watching The Ambassadors of Death early Sunday morning.
Looks like I'll have to revise a few certain art pices to accomodate it. Best Monday ever!!

But nobody's going to call him the Twelfth Doctor because he's played the Doctor in one episode. That would be silly. He was a guest star, not the lead. The "Nth Doctor" nomenclature refers to the person who stars in the show, over a period of time. (And before somebody starts in with "butbutbut Paul McGann" -- Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor was the canonical current version of the Doctor for nine years, whether he was on TV at the time or not. John Hurt's Doctor will never be the canonical current version of the Doctor anywhere ever.)
...the Doctor isn't actually numbered that way for any in-universe reason at all. (Has anyone ever actually referred to him as "the [N]th Doctor" in dialogue on the show at any point? I can't think of one, but then again there are pretty big swaths of TOS I haven't seen.) He's called that as a reference to the actor who plays him.

What to expect in 2014 (First Quarter)

Two weeks til we enter 2014 and the arrival of No. 12 (Don't start!) just a week away, It's time I rest my juices til January; that and a new laptop so I can have better photoshop software so I ca work on my graphic designing skills for future artworks. Here's a list of what to watch out for from me in 2014:
Spring 14:
- Revised version of Companions of Eight (which will include Grace, Fey, Kroton, and Tamsin)
-More Past Doctor art
-Companion Spotlight Series
-Romana Montage
-Dalek Empire piece
-revised version of Mothers of Time to include Luke, Sky and Peter)-Shalka Doctor (yes, him)
-Villians Spotlight
-12th Doctor (once the filming pictures start coming out the wood work)
-A Doctor a month series
-Short Stories (depends on my schedule with school and work.
Just to be clear for future artworks, I will not be including John Hurt in any multiDoctor artworks in future (unless I have an idea fpr a Also Doctors piece featuring him, Cushing, Bayldon, et al). Get mad but that's the way it is.
